Bridgehampton, New York
Set in a picturesque slice of Bridgehampton, our clients realized the main living spaces of their home out East didn’t align with the beauty of the surroundings. There were multiple objectives here: Update the kitchen, flip the living and dining spaces for more cohesion/flow, maintain but update a highly functional laundry room, and re-configure the upstairs kids’ spaces and bathrooms. Kicking off in September for a June move-in, our team got to work. We anchored our design around the gorgeous marble slabs we selected for the kitchen, which brought in the green and peach tones we leaned into throughout our designs. The mix of painted and oak kitchen cabinets, alongside the terracotta backsplash and rattan-front bar, brought the beauty of the outdoors right into their kitchen. A Noguchi pendant above a travertine round table, set in front of a floor-to-ceiling lime-washed fireplace sets the stage for both intimate family dinners and beautiful entertaining. A performance fabric sectional in the new family room, ensured rainy days would be spent in comfort and with peace-of-mind. The kids' space upstairs was outfitted with a brand new bathroom inspired by the verdant backyard — the inspiration also made its way onto the leaf-printed black-out curtains, ensuring the little ones could sleep in.
