Upper West Side, New York
This condo in Manhattan’s Upper West Side was fully reimagined by our team at Rachel Sloane Interiors in collaboration with Hite Construction. We completed a gut renovation and reconfiguration of the kitchen, powder room, guest bathroom, and primary bathroom and closet, along with furnishing and decorating the entire home.
In the kitchen, we combined the original kitchen and breakfast area to create one cohesive, multifunctional space designed for cooking and entertaining. White oak cabinetry and leathered Taj Mahal quartzite countertops bring warmth and texture, while updated appliances and a sofa under the window make the space both functional and inviting.
In the primary suite, we removed the unused tub and expanded the layout to create a generous walk-in shower and integrated closet. A custom millwork vanity and graphic tile flooring add personality while remaining refined.
Throughout the home, we grounded each space in warm tones to ensure flow and cohesion, layering color in a way that feels rich yet easy on the eyes. Custom elements, including a stone bookshelf and sculptural seating moments, add architectural interest. The result is a colorful, comfortable, and highly livable home designed for modern family life.
